Sayari Chosen by U.S. Labor Department to Fight Forced Labor

Sayari, a leading supply chain, and counterparty risk intelligence firm is now a crucial partner for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs. Following a rigorous evaluation, ILAB has selected Sayari Graph to identify and address forced labor risks within supply chains and corporate networks through import regulation initiatives.

The U.S. Department of Labor has become the second member of the Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force to choose Sayari as a partner in the fight against forced labor, following U.S. Customs and Border Protection. As part of FLETF, led by the Department of Homeland Security, DOL, alongside six other agencies, aims to prevent goods produced with forced labor from entering the United States. As a key FLETF member, DOL will actively contribute to expanding the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act list. Sayari CEO Farley Mesko expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting Sayari’s unique ability to provide visibility into intricate supply chains, aiding DOL in restricting entities involved in forced labor from accessing the U.S. economy.

Back in September 2022, CBP awarded Sayari a $7.8 million enterprise contract to address ongoing global supply chain risks. CBP’s trade enforcement and investigation teams utilize Sayari Graph to access comprehensive commercial and risk data, including trade information from over 65 countries. This data illuminates supply chains, identifies sub-tier counterparty risks, and ensures that major corporations comply with import regulations, including the UFLPA.
