On September 12, 2024, ITT Inc. (NYSE: ITT) announced the successful completion of its acquisition of kSARIA Parent, Inc. (kSARIA), a leading provider of mission-critical connectivity solutions for the aerospace and defense sectors. The acquisition, initially disclosed on August 1, 2024, was financed through a combination of a ~$460 million term loan and available cash.
kSARIA specializes in advanced cable assemblies for avionics, sensors, communications, and networking applications, which complement ITT’s existing connector product lines. The company operates in the $7 billion North American defense market, expected to grow at a high single-digit compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through 2028. Nearly 70% of kSARIA’s business involves sole or primary source positions, making it a key supplier. With proprietary engineering and manufacturing capabilities, strategic positions on major platforms, and strong relationships with top customers, kSARIA is poised to capitalize on global defense growth, including investments in new defense platforms, electronic upgrades, and soldier modernization programs.
Based in Hudson, New Hampshire, kSARIA employs approximately 1,000 people across six North American manufacturing facilities and generated about $175 million in revenue in 2023. It will now operate as part of ITT’s Connect & Control Technologies segment, which produces connectors and control components for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.
