CJ Logistics America, a leader in supply chain innovation and technology, has officially opened a new cold storage warehouse in Gainesville, Georgia. Announced earlier this year, this 270,000-square-foot facility is strategically positioned in the heart of the world’s poultry production hub, with convenient access to major highways and railways, including I-985, I-85, and the Norfolk Southern railway.
Equipped with advanced Alta EXPERT Refrigeration Systems and QFM blast freezing technology, the facility provides top-tier cold storage solutions. The high-efficiency blast freezing system can bring products to target temperatures within 24 hours. It features three specialized storage areas tailored for finished goods, bakery items, and proteins. Additionally, the warehouse has 30,000 pallet positions and an on-site USDA office and inspection room.
“Our global clients expect outstanding service, and this facility was built to exceed those expectations,” said Kevin Coleman, CEO of CJ Logistics America. “With cutting-edge technology and a prime location, this distribution center strengthens CJ Logistics’ position as a top provider of cold chain solutions for leading brands.
