REV Group Names Linas Polteraitis as Chief Supply Chain Officer

REV Group, Inc. (NYSE: REVG), a prominent U.S.-based manufacturer of specialty vehicles including fire trucks, ambulances, and recreational vehicles, has announced the promotion of Linas Polteraitis to the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO). This leadership transition marks a significant step in REV Group’s ongoing strategy to streamline operations and build long-term supply chain resilience in a complex and evolving global manufacturing landscape.

Polteraitis, who joined the company in September 2023 as Vice President of Supply Chain, will now assume responsibility for overseeing the entire supply chain function across REV Group’s diverse business segments. He will continue to report directly to Mark Skonieczny, President and CEO of REV Group.

Leadership Backed by Performance

“Linas has been instrumental in strengthening REV’s procurement and supply chain operations,” said Skonieczny. “Over the course of his tenure, he has built a high-performing team and fostered strong supplier partnerships. He has proven himself to be a strategic and results-oriented leader, and we are delighted to promote Linas to our Chief Supply Chain Officer.”

The promotion reflects both the impact of Polteraitis’ leadership and the critical role supply chain optimization plays in REV Group’s business strategy. Since joining REV, he has led transformative initiatives focused on operational efficiency, procurement strategy, and risk mitigation—all crucial in an era of continued supply chain volatility and shifting customer expectations.

A Veteran of Global Supply Chain Strategy

Polteraitis brings over two decades of experience in global supply chain leadership roles, having served at some of the most prominent companies in the manufacturing and automotive sectors. Before his role at REV Group, he was Senior Director of Supply Chain at Otis Worldwide Corporation, a global leader in elevator and escalator manufacturing. There, he successfully led numerous strategic initiatives that drove operational improvements and revenue growth, particularly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when supply chains across the globe faced unprecedented disruption.

During his tenure at Otis, Polteraitis received the company’s prestigious CEO Award, in recognition of his leadership during the pandemic. He played a pivotal role in managing supply chain continuity during an era defined by material shortages, transportation delays, and shifting customer demand patterns. His efforts not only helped stabilize Otis’s operations but also positioned the company for sustained success in a post-pandemic environment.

Earlier in his career, Polteraitis held key leadership roles at companies such as Adient, a global automotive seating supplier, where he served as Vice President of Purchasing for Direct Materials. He also led supply chain operations across the Americas for Aptiv, an automotive technology company. Additional experience includes impactful roles at ZF TRW, DMAX Ltd., General Motors, and Isuzu Motors America.

Focus on Supply Chain Resilience and Innovation

As Chief Supply Chain Officer, Polteraitis is expected to deepen REV Group’s strategic focus on end-to-end supply chain integration, lean manufacturing principles, supplier diversification, and digitalization. His promotion comes at a time when manufacturers are increasingly shifting from just-in-time models to more resilient, just-in-case frameworks—balancing cost control with continuity and responsiveness.

Under his leadership, REV Group is poised to continue enhancing supply chain visibility and agility across its commercial, emergency, and recreational vehicle divisions. With demand fluctuating and supplier networks becoming more complex, having a senior executive with deep expertise in procurement strategy, logistics, and global sourcing is increasingly vital.

Polteraitis is also expected to spearhead sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, ensuring REV aligns its procurement and logistics practices with the company’s broader environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

Educational Background and Recognition

Polteraitis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, one of the most respected programs in the field. His academic foundation, combined with his vast industry experience, has allowed him to approach challenges with both a theoretical and pragmatic perspective.

Beyond his CEO Award at Otis, Polteraitis has received numerous accolades throughout his career for leadership, collaboration, and performance excellence. His track record of fostering supplier relationships, mentoring high-performing teams, and delivering tangible results has positioned him as a trusted executive in the supply chain domain.

Strategic Implications for REV Group

REV Group’s decision to elevate Polteraitis signals its commitment to building a more robust and forward-looking supply chain framework. With operations spanning North America and international markets, and a product portfolio that serves municipalities, commercial operators, and individual consumers, the company’s ability to manage complex supply chains is mission-critical.

Amid challenges such as component shortages, rising raw material costs, and international trade volatility, having a proven leader at the helm of supply chain strategy is essential. Polteraitis is expected to lead initiatives that leverage predictive analytics, strengthen supplier collaboration, and optimize inventory levels across REV’s operations.

REV Group continues to position itself for long-term growth and operational excellence. The appointment of Linas Polteraitis as Chief Supply Chain Officer not only acknowledges his achievements within the company but also aligns with broader industry trends emphasizing resilient and intelligent supply chain ecosystems.

As manufacturers continue to adapt to macroeconomic uncertainties, environmental regulations, and evolving customer expectations, leaders like Polteraitis will play a pivotal role in driving transformation. His expertise and leadership are expected to deliver significant value as REV Group advances its mission of delivering innovative, reliable, and sustainable specialty vehicles for a wide range of applications.

With this strategic promotion, REV Group reinforces its commitment to leadership excellence, operational agility, and stakeholder value creation—laying the groundwork for continued success in a rapidly evolving industrial landscape.
