Porter Airlines Unveils Expanded 2026 Summer Schedule With New Routes Across North America
Porter Airlines announced a significant expansion of its summer 2026 flight schedule, introducing new destinations, launching multiple new routes, increasing frequencies on popular domestic services, and extending select winter sun routes into the summer travel season. The expanded schedule reflects Porter’s continued growth strategy across Canada and the United States and underscores its commitment to providing travellers with enhanced connectivity, greater choice, and a premium economy flying experience.
The summer 2026 schedule represents one of the most ambitious network expansions in Porter’s history, with overall system growth of approximately 20%—the fastest growth rate among airlines in North America. The expansion touches every region of Porter’s network, reinforcing the airline’s growing presence in key Canadian hubs while strengthening cross-border connections to major U.S. destinations.
Expanding U.S. Service With New Destinations and Routes
Porter continues to broaden its U.S. footprint with the introduction of new transborder services, most notably the launch of nonstop flights between Toronto City Airport (Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, YTZ) and Nashville International Airport (BNA). The new Nashville service marks a new destination for Porter and adds a culturally and economically significant U.S. market to the airline’s expanding network.
Beginning May 11, 2026, Porter will operate daily service between downtown Toronto and Nashville, offering travellers a convenient link between two vibrant city centers. Known for its world-renowned live music scene, creative industries, and rich cultural heritage, Nashville represents a strong addition to Porter’s growing list of U.S. destinations.
In addition to Nashville, Porter is expanding service to Boston, Massachusetts. New flights will be introduced from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), further strengthening connectivity between Canada’s major business and cultural centers and one of the most important cities in the northeastern United States.
Service from Toronto Pearson to Boston will begin on May 14, 2026, with up to 14 flights per week, while Montréal–Boston service will also launch on May 14, operating daily. These routes are expected to serve both business and leisure travelers seeking convenient, frequent service between Canada and the U.S.
Strengthening Connectivity Across Canada
In parallel with its U.S. expansion, Porter is enhancing its domestic network with six new Canadian routes spanning Toronto Pearson, Hamilton (YHM), and Ottawa (YOW). These additions further support Porter’s strategy of building strong regional connectivity while leveraging its growing hub in the national capital.
Effective May 1, 2026, service to Sudbury (YSB) and Windsor (YQG) will shift from Toronto City Airport to Ottawa. This change provides travelers in both markets with nonstop access to Ottawa and improved connectivity across Porter’s broader North American network.
By repositioning these routes through Ottawa, Porter is strengthening the city’s role as a key hub, offering more efficient connections for travelers traveling onward to other Canadian and U.S. destinations.
New Routes Launching in Summer 2026
As part of the expanded schedule, Porter will introduce the following new routes:
- Ottawa – Windsor: Launching May 1, 2026, with daily service
- Ottawa – Sudbury: Launching May 1, 2026, with daily service

These routes expand Porter’s reach across key business, leisure, and regional markets while offering customers more options for nonstop travel and convenient connections.
Increased Frequencies on Popular Domestic Routes

The following routes will see frequency increases:
- Ottawa – Winnipeg: Increasing from seven to 12 flights per week

These enhancements reflect strong demand in key regional markets and support increased travel within Canada during peak summer months.
Popular Winter Sun Routes Extended Into Summer
Porter is also extending several popular winter seasonal routes into the summer travel season, offering continued access to sun destinations for Canadian travelers. Notably, Porter remains the only airline providing nonstop summer service from Ottawa to sun destinations.
Extended routes for summer 2026 include:
