Airbus Selects Rocket Lab to Power Next-Generation Eutelsat OneWeb Constellation

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. Rocket Lab will manufacture 200 solar panels, comprising carbon composite panel substrates, high-performance solar cells, and photovoltaic assemblies. These panels will be produced at Rocket Lab’s state-of-the-art 150,000-square-foot space solar production facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

These solar panels will generate approximately 80 kW of power for the OneWeb satellite constellation. This level of power output is significant—equivalent to powering 16 Hubble-sized space telescopes.
