Altavair Limited (“Altavair”), a global aviation asset manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Hazeldine as Chief Operating Officer, effective October 2024. Based in Altavair’s Dublin office, Hazeldine will oversee key operational areas including Legal, Technical, Tax & Accounting, Contract Management, and Human Resources.
Hazeldine brings extensive experience in the aircraft leasing industry, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer at CDB Aviation for nearly six years. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at SMBC Aviation Capital, holding various roles such as Head of Credit Risk, Head of Transaction Management, SVP Commercial Negotiation, and leading the establishment of SMBC AC’s Innovation Hub.
