BlueForge and Palantir Launch Warp Speed to Digitally Transform U.S. Shipbuilding

BlueForge Alliance (BFA), a nonprofit integrator supporting the U.S. Navy’s mission to revitalize the maritime industrial base (MIB), and Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE: PLTR) have unveiled Warp Speed for Warships—a transformative new initiative aimed at accelerating warship production, improving fleet readiness, and driving digital modernization across the U.S. naval shipbuilding ecosystem.

Funded by the Navy’s Maritime Industrial Base Program, this ambitious effort is an extension of the ongoing strategic partnership between BFA and Palantir. The program is built on Palantir’s proven Warp Speed manufacturing operating system and configured through its Foundry platform. It is designed to streamline and digitally connect the vast network of shipbuilders, suppliers, and critical stakeholders working to build and sustain the Navy’s fleet.

As the maritime industrial base faces increased production pressures and evolving national security demands, Warp Speed for Warships offers a unified digital infrastructure that integrates data, models, logic, and decision tools into a single operational environment. This platform enables real-time visibility, coordination, and agility across the supply chain — accelerating delivery timelines, reducing risk, and enhancing system-wide performance.

“This strategic partnership with Palantir is about delivering speed and precision at scale,” said Kiley Wren, co-founder and co-CEO of BlueForge Alliance. “Palantir brings the ability to turn complexity into clarity, enabling the kind of data-driven action we need. Together with our nation’s shipbuilders and suppliers, we are laying the digital foundation to meet the Navy’s urgent demand for rapid, resilient, and scalable shipbuilding.”

The initiative highlights a renewed model of public-private collaboration, leveraging BFA’s domain expertise and trusted role within the shipbuilding ecosystem alongside Palantir’s cutting-edge data integration and decision-making technology.

Warp Speed for Warships is a vital step in giving the Navy the digital edge it needs to maintain maritime superiority and deter global threats,” said Mike Gallagher, Head of Defense at Palantir. “This collaboration brings together the industrial know-how of BlueForge and the software capabilities of Palantir to equip American shipbuilders with modern tools to meet mission-critical goals.”

By bridging digital infrastructure with industrial execution, Warp Speed for Warships signals a bold move toward modernizing naval manufacturing and reinforcing the United States’ maritime dominance for years to come.
