Cold-Link Logistics, one of the ten largest privately held cold storage platforms in North America, has announced a significant expansion and modernization project at its Providence cold storage facility located at Quonset Business Park. The facility, known as Cold-Link Logistics Providence, currently operates as a tri-temperature warehouse that handles frozen, refrigerated, and ambient products. With the expansion, Cold-Link plans to add approximately 65,000 square feet of additional freezer space, significantly boosting the facility’s capacity and reinforcing its role as a key hub in the region’s cold supply chain network.

Once the project is completed, the Providence facility will grow from its current 64,000 square feet to approximately 129,000 square feet. The new construction will introduce 13,500 additional frozen pallet positions, which will increase the facility’s total storage capacity to roughly 18,000 pallet positions.
