Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe (CSI Europe) has officially opened registration for its first-ever edition in Germany, one of the hearts of river cruise and home to Meyer Werft. The cruise ship interiors supply chain, from shipyards to suppliers, will convene at the Hamburg Messe & Congress 3 – 4 December for two days of simply the most relevant conversations, conferences and meetups in the cruise ship interiors industry.
Moving from its UK base, CSI London – as it’s known by thousands of returning visitors and exhibitors – will be transforming to CSI Hamburg. In addition to the brand-new locations for the popular networking opportunities Opening Party and CSI After Hours, the trade fair will dive into topics and challenges faced by the European cruise ship interiors industry – and equip attendees with solutions and products for one of the 295 refurbishment projects, or 73 newbuilds underway over the next two years.
With the order books nearly full across all shipyards, now is a crucial time for shipyard executives, ship owners, design studios, outfitters and suppliers to meet. The Conference, in partnership with NEWH, will explore everything from how to create efficiencies across the shipbuilding process to delivering a premium experience on board Europe’s many smaller river and ocean going vessels. Dedicated to connection and collaboration, the trade fair will feature over 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations from across the cruise interiors supply chain. Attendees can discover fresh inspiration as they explore a vibrant show floor filled with creative exhibits, live product demos, and immersive design activations.
Over in the hospitality zone, Hospitality@CSI, panels will explore how hotel operations deliver guest experience. An intimate Lunch & Learn will host a speaker from a leading hotel brand, exploring how their understanding of their market shapes the way they create impactful guest experience, followed by a networking lunch. Hospitality@CSI exhibitors include everyone from new-to-cruise coffee break experts Cimbali Group, to the experienced cabin amenities companies ADA Cosmetics and Bentley Europe.
Cimbali Group isn’t the only exhibitor making their CSI Europe debut, as the trade fair welcomes over 120 fresh faces to the show floor. Outfitters Meyer RE will add their names to the outfitters who regularly make their mark on CSI Europe, including Marine Interiors (Fincantieri), The Deluxe Group and Accomar. Visiting buyers and designers can find fully certified and new to the market products for every project, from stone and surface materials with Porcelanosa, to furnishings with Calligaris.
On the evening of day two, the bustling show floor will seamlessly transform into the star- studded Cruise Ship Interiors Awards. The only awards ceremony dedicated to celebrating the creativity, innovation and beauty of the cruise ship interiors community will present all-new categories and a refreshed judging panel. This year, the cruise ship interiors industry has seen a flurry of activity across both newbuild and refurbishment markets, as cruise lines see record bookings and profits.
