Boone previously served as CSX’s Chief Financial Officer from 2019 to 2021, a tenure marked by his steady guidance during the global COVID-19 pandemic—a time of significant supply chain disruption and economic uncertainty. In her previous role, Kenney was responsible for leading Merchandise Sales and Marketing, TRANSFLO, Automotive, and Total Distribution Services, Inc. (TDSI)—divisions that collectively represent significant components of CSX’s business portfolio. Her leadership has been characterized by a focus on innovation, collaboration, and operational reliability, which have contributed to record levels of customer satisfaction and network efficiency.
Earlier in her career at CSX, Kenney served as Vice President of Intermodal and Automotive, where she played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s intermodal footprint, improving service reliability, and optimizing pricing strategies in line with market dynamics. Before her corporate career, Kenney served honorably in the United States Army for seven years, achieving the rank of Captain.
