ISG Provider Lens™ Report on Electric Transportation Support Providers Soon

In June 2024, Information Services Group, a leading global technology research and advisory firm, is set to release a comprehensive Provider Lens™ report titled “eMobility Services and Solutions.” This report will delve into Mobility as a Service (MaaS), Electric Mobility Systems (EMS), and manufacturing, offering valuable insights for enterprise buyers.

The report aims to equip enterprise buyers with information to assess their current vendor relationships, explore new engagements, and understand available offerings. Simultaneously, ISG advisors will leverage this information to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side clients.

The significance of eMobility in reducing global carbon emissions cannot be overstated, with transportation accounting for approximately 30% of the world’s energy demand. ISG Partner and Global Leader, Jan Erik Aase, emphasized, “eMobility’s potential for decarbonization is huge,” highlighting the emergence of technology providers dedicated to supporting enterprises in this transformative space.

To conduct this study, ISG has engaged with over 25 providers of eMobility services and solutions, distributing surveys to gather insights. The research team, collaborating with ISG’s global advisors, will present findings in three key quadrants:

  1. Mobility as a Service (MaaS): Evaluation of providers offering transport infrastructure, services, information systems, and payment services for various transportation modes, accessible through mobile apps.
  2. Electric Mobility Systems (EMS): Assessment of providers offering services related to eMobility electrical infrastructure, including maintenance, repair, batteries, charging technologies, drivetrains, charging stations, electricity grids, and information systems.
  3. Manufacturing: Evaluation of providers serving EV manufacturing requirements, covering manufacturing execution systems, shop floor analytics, asset management, quality management, predictive maintenance, and plant automation.

The report will extend its coverage to the global eMobility market, authored by ISG analyst Harish B. Companies interested in being included in the study can contact ISG for further details.

Additionally, all 2024 ISG Provider Lens™ evaluations will include expanded customer experience (CX) data, providing real insights into enterprise experiences with specific providers. Enterprises are encouraged to share their experiences and will receive a copy of the report in return for their feedback.
