JetBlue Launches Sweepstakes and Celebrates Bad Bunny Residency in Puerto Rico

JetBlue, Puerto Rico’s largest airline, has officially announced its sponsorship of the highly anticipated “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” concert residency by global music icon Bad Bunny. The residency kicks off July 11 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, marking a major cultural moment for the island. In celebration, JetBlue is offering customers across the U.S. the opportunity to experience the electrifying show firsthand through an exciting national sweepstakes.

From July 11 through July 18, JetBlue invites fans to enter for a chance to win one of five exclusive prize packages, each including roundtrip flights for two to San Juan and a pair of tickets to one of the residency shows on August 29 or 30. Winners will be randomly selected and notified by July 23.

A Cultural Partnership Rooted in Community

JetBlue’s sponsorship of Bad Bunny’s “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency reflects its long-standing commitment to Puerto Rico, where the airline has been deeply rooted for over two decades. Marty St. George, president of JetBlue, emphasized the significance of the partnership:

“Puerto Rico has been an important part of JetBlue’s history for more than 20 years, and our continued growth and investment on the island reflects our deep connection to the people and communities we serve,” he said. “Partnering with Bad Bunny’s residency, which embodies the pride, creativity, and global influence of the Boricua spirit, is an extension of our commitment to celebrating what makes this island so special. We are excited to launch this sweepstakes that will give our customers an opportunity to be part of this unforgettable musical and cultural experience.”

A Summer of Surprises

JetBlue’s involvement doesn’t stop at the sweepstakes. The airline will host a series of special activations and surprises for concertgoers throughout the summer as part of the “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency. From exclusive fan experiences to venue giveaways, JetBlue plans to enhance the concert atmosphere with moments of joy and celebration that go beyond the stage. Details of these activations will be revealed throughout the residency’s duration.

Más Allá del Vuelo: JetBlue’s Deepening Ties with Puerto Rico

JetBlue’s support for the residency aligns with its broader investment in Puerto Rico. The airline currently operates an average of 50 daily departures from three major Puerto Rican airports: Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan (SJU), Rafael Hernández Airport in Aguadilla (BQN), and Mercedita Airport in Ponce (PSE). This makes JetBlue the leading carrier in terms of passenger capacity to and from the island.

In 2023, JetBlue took a major step in expanding its local presence by opening its first-ever pilot and inflight crew base outside the continental U.S. in San Juan. This initiative created numerous job opportunities for residents and helped boost the local economy. Moreover, JetBlue has continually strengthened its flight network, connecting Puerto Rico with key U.S. mainland cities as well as destinations throughout the Caribbean.

The airline has also actively supported Puerto Rico’s tourism, business, and cultural sectors by backing events and projects that highlight the island’s vibrancy. Its partnership with Bad Bunny, one of Puerto Rico’s most prominent cultural ambassadors, is a continuation of this mission to uplift and promote the unique identity of the island.
