Kuehne+Nagel and Casaideas Deepen Partnership to Support Omnichannel Expansion in Chile

Kuehne+Nagel and Casaideas Expand Logistics Partnership to Drive Omnichannel Growth in Chile

Kuehne+Nagel and Casaideas have announced an expanded logistics partnership in Chile, reinforcing their shared commitment to strengthening supply chain capabilities across both retail and e-commerce channels. The enhanced collaboration is designed to support Casaideas’ growing omnichannel strategy, ensuring seamless integration between online fulfilment operations and in-store inventory replenishment for the national home and design brand.

The agreement marks a significant step forward in Casaideas’ logistics transformation journey, with Kuehne+Nagel playing a central role in operating a newly established distribution centre dedicated exclusively to the brand’s nationwide operations. This facility has been designed to improve efficiency, scalability, and responsiveness in an increasingly competitive retail environment.

Dedicated Distribution Centre Enhances Supply Chain Efficiency

A key outcome of the expanded partnership is the development and operation of a dedicated distribution centre for Casaideas, managed by Kuehne+Nagel. The facility became fully operational in 2025 and has already demonstrated strong performance across both retail and e-commerce fulfilment activities.

Since its launch, the centre has handled an impressive 34.8 million inbound units, reflecting the scale of Casaideas’ supply chain requirements and the operational capacity of the new logistics setup. During the same period, it has distributed 24.7 million products to more than 40 Casaideas retail stores across Chile, ensuring consistent stock availability and improved replenishment cycles.

The performance data highlights the efficiency gains achieved through centralised logistics operations, particularly in supporting high-volume retail distribution while maintaining service consistency across a geographically dispersed store network.

Strong Operational Performance in 2025

The logistics hub has shown steady and accelerating performance throughout 2025. Notably, the final quarter of the year accounted for approximately 33% of total annual volume, indicating a strong ramp-up in operational maturity and seasonal demand handling capabilities.

This performance surge in the last quarter reflects both improved process optimisation within the facility and increased demand across Casaideas’ retail and digital channels, particularly during peak shopping periods. The distribution centre’s ability to scale efficiently during high-demand cycles has become a key advantage in supporting Casaideas’ business continuity and customer satisfaction goals.

In addition to retail distribution, the facility also plays a critical role in e-commerce fulfilment, an increasingly important segment for Casaideas as consumer purchasing behaviour continues to shift toward digital channels.

Growing E-commerce Fulfilment Capabilities

Alongside its retail logistics operations, the distribution centre processed 953,000 units for e-commerce in 2025, fulfilling nearly 190,000 customer orders throughout the year. This highlights the growing importance of Casaideas’ online channel and the need for integrated logistics support that can handle both individual order fulfilment and large-scale store replenishment simultaneously.

The integration of e-commerce and retail logistics within a single operational framework allows for greater inventory visibility, faster processing times, and improved allocation of stock based on real-time demand patterns. This omnichannel approach helps Casaideas reduce delivery times, optimise stock levels, and enhance overall customer experience across all touchpoints.

Leadership Perspective from Kuehne+Nagel

Eduardo Razuck, Executive Vice President Contract and Integrated Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, emphasised the strategic value of the partnership and the operational improvements achieved through the dedicated facility.

He stated that the collaboration represents an integrated logistics model focused on efficiency, automation, visibility, and responsiveness. According to Razuck, the primary objective is to build a flexible and scalable supply chain that ensures operational excellence while maintaining a consistent customer experience across both physical retail stores and e-commerce platforms.

This approach reflects Kuehne+Nagel’s broader strategy of developing customised logistics solutions for retail clients, particularly in markets where omnichannel fulfilment is becoming a core competitive requirement. By leveraging advanced logistics infrastructure and process automation, the company aims to support long-term scalability and resilience for its partners.

Casaideas Focuses on Customer Experience and Omnichannel Growth

From Casaideas’ perspective, the expanded partnership is a key enabler of its long-term customer experience strategy. Cedric Moller, General Manager of Casaideas Chile, highlighted the importance of logistics performance in shaping customer satisfaction across both physical and digital channels.

He noted that Casaideas places customer experience at the centre of its operations and that the partnership with Kuehne+Nagel represents a critical step in strengthening this commitment. The improved logistics framework is expected to enhance response times, streamline operations, and ensure a more consistent and reliable shopping experience for customers.

Moller also emphasised that the collaboration supports Casaideas’ broader omnichannel strategy by integrating its retail and e-commerce operations more effectively. This integration allows the company to optimise internal processes, strengthen channel performance, and maintain a consistently high standard of service at every customer interaction point.

Strengthening Omnichannel Retail Infrastructure in Chile

The expanded logistics partnership between Kuehne+Nagel and Casaideas reflects a broader trend in the retail industry, where companies are increasingly investing in integrated supply chain models to support omnichannel growth. In markets like Chile, where consumer expectations for fast and reliable fulfilment are rising, logistics infrastructure has become a critical differentiator.

By centralising operations within a dedicated distribution centre, Casaideas gains improved control over inventory management, faster replenishment cycles, and greater flexibility in responding to demand fluctuations. At the same time, Kuehne+Nagel benefits from deepened collaboration with a key retail client, reinforcing its position as a leading contract logistics provider in the region.

Looking ahead, the partnership is expected to continue evolving as Casaideas expands its omnichannel capabilities and Kuehne+Nagel further refines its logistics solutions. The strong performance recorded in 2025 provides a solid foundation for future growth, particularly as e-commerce volumes continue to rise and retail networks become increasingly integrated.

With a scalable infrastructure now in place, both companies are well-positioned to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and support sustainable business growth across Chile’s competitive retail landscape.

The collaboration ultimately underscores the growing importance of advanced logistics partnerships in enabling modern retail success, where speed, flexibility, and integration across channels are essential for long-term competitiveness.
