Kuehne+Nagel is strengthening its Contract Logistics operations by transforming its proprietary warehouse management system, KN SwiftLOG, into a cloud-native platform enhanced with agentic artificial intelligence (AI). The initiative marks one of the largest warehouse digital transformation projects in the logistics industry, spanning more than 1,000 sites across nearly 100 countries.
Built on Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management Solution, part of the company’s Cognitive Solutions portfolio, the upgraded KN SwiftLOG platform combines Kuehne+Nagel’s established warehouse management capabilities with a unified cloud-based infrastructure. The transformation is designed to improve operational connectivity, enhance scalability, and support increasingly complex global supply chains.
The global rollout began in April 2026 and is being introduced in phases to ensure uninterrupted customer operations. This gradual deployment approach allows Kuehne+Nagel to expand the platform across its worldwide logistics network while maintaining service continuity and meeting evolving customer demands.
According to Eduardo Razuck, Executive Vice President, Contract Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, transitioning KN SwiftLOG to a cloud-native platform enables stronger integration of operations, data, and workflows across the company’s global footprint. He noted that as supply chains become more complex, cloud-based technologies play a critical role in improving operational efficiency, delivering consistent execution, and responding more rapidly to customer requirements while maintaining reliable service.
The enhanced platform establishes a foundation for more intelligent warehouse operations by combining data-driven insights with automation capabilities. This enables better planning, greater operational visibility, and quicker responses to supply chain disruptions, ultimately improving efficiency across Kuehne+Nagel’s logistics network.
Customers are expected to benefit from standardized warehouse processes across multiple locations, ensuring greater consistency for organizations operating internationally. The unified cloud environment also supports more seamless coordination between sites while preserving the stable and reliable operations customers currently experience. The first customer deployment is scheduled to go live in Asia in July 2026.
