
Pioneer Power Secures $6 Million PRYMUS® Award to Power Major National Logistics Transit Hubs
Pioneer Power Solutions, a recognized leader in the design, manufacture, service, and integration of distributed energy resources, power generation systems, and mobile electric vehicle (“EV”) charging solutions, today announced that it has received a $6.0 million award for the deployment of two PRYMUS® distributed generation systems. The award marks another significant step forward for the Company’s Energy-at-the-Edge strategy and highlights growing commercial momentum for its newly introduced platform.
The planned installations are intended to provide prime power support for two separate transit hubs operated by one of the largest package delivery companies in the United States. Delivery of the systems is expected in the second half of 2026, reflecting a long-term deployment schedule aligned with infrastructure readiness and customer operational requirements.
According to the Company, the award reinforces early market validation of PRYMUS®, which was formally launched only five months ago. Despite its recent introduction, the platform is already gaining traction among large-scale energy users seeking flexible, rapidly deployable power solutions in response to increasing grid constraints and evolving energy demands.

The PRYMUS® systems to be deployed under this award are engineered as integrated distributed generation platforms combining multiple power technologies. Each installation is expected to include a combination of eight paralleled 400 kW natural gas engine generator sets and two 480 kW battery energy storage systems. These components will be supported by advanced electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, control systems, and remote monitoring capabilities to ensure operational reliability and performance optimization.
The hybrid configuration is designed to provide both steady-state and peak power support, enabling the systems to respond dynamically to fluctuating energy demands at high-volume logistics sites. By combining natural gas generation with battery energy storage, the PRYMUS® platform is intended to improve efficiency, enhance responsiveness, and reduce reliance on traditional grid expansion projects, which can often face permitting and interconnection delays.
Pioneer Power noted that the entire solution will be delivered in a trailer-mounted configuration, allowing for rapid deployment and operational flexibility.
