Porter Airlines Launches New Montréal–Fort Myers Route

Porter Airlines has inaugurated a new seasonal route connecting Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) with Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. This service makes Porter the only airline offering non-stop flights between these two destinations, providing a convenient link to the sunny beaches and attractions of Southwest Florida.

The route is operated using Porter’s state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which is designed to elevate the economy travel experience. The spacious cabin configuration eliminates middle seats, ensuring greater comfort for passengers. Additionally, travelers can enjoy complimentary fast WiFi, premium snacks, and beer or wine served in glassware—all included in the fare.

For those seeking an upgraded experience, the PorterReserve option offers a range of premium benefits. These include freshly prepared meals, pre-mixed cocktails, dedicated airport check-in, priority boarding, and enhanced legroom. PorterReserve can be booked as a package or added to PorterClassic fares on an à la carte basis.

In addition to the Montréal–Fort Myers route, Porter Airlines offers non-stop service to Fort Myers from Toronto Pearson and Ottawa, making it easier for Canadian travelers to reach the popular Florida destination.

This new route strengthens Porter Airlines’ presence in transborder markets and reinforces its commitment to providing a superior travel experience. With its launch, travelers from Montréal can now easily access the warm climate and vibrant attractions of Southwest Florida, just in time for the winter season.
