SEKO Logistics Strengthens Leadership Team to Drive North American Growth

SEKO Logistics Reinforces Leadership Structure to Accelerate Growth Across North America

SEKO Logistics (SEKO), a leading global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions, has announced a major advancement in its North American leadership team as part of its strategic focus on operational excellence, talent development, and customer-centric growth. The company has promoted Ian Oliver to the role of President, North America Operations, where he will take the helm in shaping SEKO’s strategic direction and operational performance across the continent. In a parallel move aimed at reinforcing the company’s expanding third-party logistics capabilities, SEKO has also promoted Greg Amidon to Senior Director, 3PL Operations.

These executive advancements mark a significant step forward for SEKO as it continues to expand its North American footprint. With more than 60 U.S. branch locations and a growing presence across Canada and Mexico, North America represents a core market for SEKO’s growth strategy. The new leadership structure is designed to position the company for long-term success in an increasingly complex and competitive logistics environment.

A Strategic Promotion to Bolster Regional Oversight

In his new role, Ian Oliver will oversee the entirety of SEKO’s operations across North America. His responsibilities will span all major logistics services, including domestic freight, international shipping, ecommerce logistics, small parcel delivery, and customs brokerage. Additionally, Oliver will lead SEKO’s Contract Logistics (CL) division in the region, continue managing strategic partnerships, and take on global responsibilities for both air freight and agent relations.

“Ian has played a pivotal role in advancing SEKO’s operations throughout the Americas,” said Gordon Branov, CEO of SEKO Logistics. “His promotion is a reflection not only of his deep industry expertise, but also of his ability to build high-performing teams and drive client-focused innovation. Ian exemplifies the operational excellence and people-first culture that SEKO values deeply.”

Branov emphasized that under Oliver’s leadership, SEKO plans to further integrate and streamline its diverse portfolio of services. “Our clients rely on us for comprehensive solutions—from freight forwarding and ecommerce fulfillment to white glove domestic services and global air and ocean freight with customs clearance capabilities,” Branov noted. “Ian’s leadership will ensure we continue to develop and deliver seamless, scalable solutions across all facets of our business.”

Proven Leadership With Deep Industry Roots

With more than 25 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, Ian Oliver brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership acumen to his new position. Prior to his promotion, Oliver served as SEKO’s Senior Vice President of Operations, where he played a central role in shaping the company’s operational strategy across the Americas. In this role, he led numerous initiatives to optimize SEKO’s logistics network, strengthen partner relationships, and align the company’s service offerings with evolving market demands.

Before joining SEKO, Oliver held several high-level leadership roles with prominent logistics firms including XPO Logistics, AIT Worldwide Logistics, and ALG Worldwide Logistics. His wide-ranging experience spans areas such as freight forwarding, warehouse operations, 3PL services, and international trade compliance—making him uniquely equipped to lead SEKO’s operations in one of its most critical regions.

“I am honored to take on this expanded role and continue building on the strong foundation we’ve created,” said Oliver. “Our North American team is incredibly talented, and with the support of our leadership and strategic partners, I am confident in our ability to drive innovation, service quality, and sustainable growth.”

Strengthening Third-Party Logistics Operations

In support of SEKO’s growing demand for integrated logistics solutions, Greg Amidon has been appointed to the newly elevated role of Senior Director, 3PL Operations. In this capacity, Amidon will be responsible for overseeing all of SEKO’s third-party logistics functions across the United States. His scope of leadership will include daily operations management, process optimization, personnel development, and strategic planning across the company’s national 3PL network.

Amidon brings a proven track record of operational leadership and customer-focused execution. Prior to this promotion, he served as Director of 3PL Operations in the critical Chicago O’Hare (ORD) market, where he led one of SEKO’s largest and most complex logistics hubs. In his new national role, Amidon will report directly to Oliver and will play an essential role in scaling SEKO’s 3PL capabilities to meet growing customer demands.

“Greg’s promotion is a recognition of his outstanding contributions and leadership within our organization,” said Oliver. “He has been instrumental in elevating our 3PL services, particularly in high-volume, time-sensitive environments. His experience and insights will be vital as we look to expand our capabilities and deliver even greater value to our clients.”

A Commitment to Clients, People, and Growth

SEKO’s enhanced leadership structure reflects the company’s continued investment in building a resilient, scalable, and customer-centric logistics platform. As the global logistics landscape becomes increasingly dynamic—driven by shifting consumer behaviors, evolving trade regulations, and the continued rise of ecommerce—SEKO is positioning itself to stay ahead through strong leadership and operational agility.

“With a network of more than 60 U.S. branches and strategic access points throughout North America, we are uniquely positioned to deliver fast, flexible, and efficient solutions for our clients,” said Oliver. “Our leadership realignment will allow us to scale intelligently while maintaining the service quality and partnership approach that SEKO is known for.”

SEKO Logistics has long distinguished itself through its ability to offer customized, tech-enabled logistics services that span the entire supply chain. Whether supporting direct-to-consumer ecommerce fulfillment, managing high-value freight, or optimizing cross-border trade, SEKO remains committed to creating value through innovation, reliability, and a deep understanding of client needs.

The promotions of Ian Oliver and Greg Amidon come at a time when SEKO is experiencing rapid growth and transformation. With new service offerings, technology enhancements, and strategic global partnerships in development, the company is focused on setting a new standard for logistics excellence in North America and beyond.

“We’re building something that’s more than a logistics company,” said Branov. “We’re creating an ecosystem of services, expertise, and technology that allows our clients to thrive in a fast-moving world. Leadership is a critical part of that journey, and with Ian and Greg in these new roles, we are better equipped than ever to deliver on that promise.”
