Swissport Strengthens Commitment to Safety Vision Through Ideagen Partnership
Swissport International, a global leader in ground services and cargo handling for the aviation industry, has announced a strategic partnership with Ideagen, a leading provider of safety and quality management software. This collaboration marks a major step forward in Swissport’s drive toward achieving its ambitious 2030 Vision of Zero Harm.
Through this partnership, Swissport will deploy Ideagen’s integrated safety, quality, and risk management solution across its 279 global locations. The platform will streamline the company’s ability to share safety information with regulatory bodies, improve compliance, and enhance overall operational safety. Covering everything from incident investigations to audits, inspections, and risk management, Ideagen’s platform offers Swissport a comprehensive and intuitive toolset.
The new system will empower Swissport’s 62,000 employees to report, monitor, and manage safety incidents, inspections, audits, and action plans more efficiently. With integrated business intelligence and advanced reporting capabilities, Swissport will gain a complete view of its safety performance, enabling targeted improvements across its worldwide operations.
David Clark, Global Head of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment at Swissport, commented:
“Ensuring the health, safety, and security of our colleagues, customers, and stakeholders is our utmost priority. We are always seeking innovative ways to strengthen our safety culture and promote a zero-harm mindset. Partnering with Ideagen will provide us with powerful tools to capture, manage, and analyze our safety data, allowing us to proactively identify risks and prevent incidents.”
Ben Dorks, CEO of Ideagen, said:
“We are thrilled to support Swissport in advancing its Zero Harm vision. Ideagen has a long history of helping aviation organizations create safer environments for passengers, crews, and ground teams. We are proud to collaborate with a company of Swissport’s caliber and look forward to contributing to the success of their 2030 goals.”
Swissport will leverage some of Ideagen’s most advanced features, including AI-enhanced data management to process large volumes of inspection data and identify key focus areas. Mobile incident reporting will make it easier for frontline employees to engage with the system, while built-in translation services will support Swissport’s international operations. By consolidating all safety functions into a single platform, Swissport aims to achieve mature risk management capabilities — connecting data sources, spotting potential risks early, and driving its Zero Harm strategy.
