Textron Aviation has announced its partnership with Gogo Business Aviation to incorporate Gogo’s global Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) solution, Gogo Galileo HDX, into its Cessna Citation Longitude, Latitude, and Ascend models. This move positions Textron Aviation as the first business aviation Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to offer Gogo Galileo HDX as a factory-installed option on new aircraft.
The integration of Gogo Galileo HDX guarantees that customers will benefit from a global connectivity solution with outstanding performance. Built on Gogo’s reliable AVANCE platform, this system includes a fuselage-mounted HDX antenna specifically designed for business jets. This setup not only makes Gogo Galileo more cost-effective but also simplifies installation and operation compared to other available satellite systems.
“At Textron Aviation, we strive to enhance our customers’ flight experience,” said Lannie O’Bannion, Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Flight Operations. “By providing Gogo Galileo HDX, we ensure that passengers aboard our Citation business jets enjoy seamless and superior inflight Wi-Fi connectivity, regardless of their travel destinations.”
Gogo Galileo HDX is anticipated to be available for the Citation Longitude starting in early 2026, with timelines for the other aircraft models to be announced later.
