Textron Aviation Expands Service Network in Australia with New Facility at Essendon Fields Airport
In an exciting move that underscores its commitment to enhancing support for customers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, Textron Aviation has announced plans to construct a modern, expanded service facility at Essendon Fields Airport, located in Melbourne, Australia. With construction set to begin in March 2025, the new facility is expected to be fully operational by early 2026, further solidifying Textron Aviation’s presence in Australia and the APAC region as a whole.

The new service facility will more than double the square footage of the company’s existing space, increasing it to over 35,000 square feet (approximately 3,343 square meters). This will allow Textron Aviation to accommodate more aircraft at any given time, thus improving the efficiency of maintenance operations. Furthermore, the facility’s location within Essendon Fields Airport will be more central, which is based on customer feedback and is designed to make it easier for clients to access the facility.

In addition to the expanded service space, the new facility will feature several upgrades aimed at improving the customer experience. For instance, the addition of a new parts stockroom will ensure faster shipping and parts availability for customers in the region.
