For the upcoming 2025 winter season, the airline will add an impressive 15 brand-new routes from key Romanian cities — Bucharest Otopeni, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, and Brașov — to some of Europe’s and North Africa’s most in-demand destinations.
This landmark expansion will connect Romanian travelers to Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden, offering a diverse selection of leisure, cultural, and business destinations. One of the highlights is that these routes will be available at highly competitive fares starting from just RON 99**, with tickets already on sale through wizzair.com and the WIZZ mobile app.

New Routes from Bucharest Otopeni
Bucharest Otopeni Airport will see the launch of five new international connections, each strategically selected to cater to various travel purposes — from business and cultural tourism to seasonal leisure escapes.
- Bucharest to Berlin (Germany): Beginning October 26, 2025, this route will operate five times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, offering travelers quick and affordable access to Germany’s vibrant capital.
- Bucharest to Prague (Czech Republic): Also starting on October 26, 2025, flights will run four times weekly — Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This connection caters both to tourists exploring Prague’s iconic architecture and to business travelers.
- Bucharest to Bordeaux (France): From October 26, 2025, flights will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, ideal for wine tourism and French cultural experiences.

- Cluj-Napoca to Milan Malpensa (Italy): Starting March 29, 2026, travelers will have access to four weekly flights — Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays — connecting them to one of Europe’s major fashion and cultural centers.

Iași, a key city in Romania’s northeast, will welcome four new destinations under this expansion plan.
- Iași to Copenhagen (Denmark): Beginning October 27, 2025, the service will operate on Mondays and Fridays during winter and shift to Tuesdays and Saturdays in summer, ensuring year-round access to Denmark’s capital.
- Iași to Prague (Czech Republic): Starting October 28, 2025, flights will run on Tuesdays and Saturdays, strengthening Central European connectivity.
- Iași to Valencia (Spain): Also from October 28, 2025, travelers can enjoy flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays, connecting Romania’s cultural heartland with Spain’s sunny Mediterranean coast.
- Iași to Pescara (Italy): From December 9, 2025, this twice-weekly route (Tuesdays and Saturdays) will give Romanian travelers direct access to Italy’s beautiful Adriatic coastline.
New Routes from Brașov
Brașov, one of Romania’s most picturesque cities, will see a significant boost to its international connections.
- Brașov to Milan Malpensa (Italy): Launching October 28, 2025, flights will run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, facilitating tourism and business travel between Transylvania and northern Italy.
- Brașov to Rome Fiumicino (Italy): Starting January 27, 2026, this route will operate on the same schedule — Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays — linking Brașov directly to Italy’s capital and its wealth of cultural heritage.
