Manhattan Associates Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) has announced that Yusen Logistics Co. Ltd, a leading global supply chain logistics company, will implement Manhattan Active® Warehouse Management at its new distribution center in the UK. The facility in Northampton is set to open in January 2026, reflecting Yusen Logistics’ commitment to enhancing performance and efficiency through advanced distribution technology. Established in 1955, Yusen Logistics is part of Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK), one of the world’s oldest and largest shipping companies, offering ocean and air freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain management across more than 650 locations and approximately 3.4 million square meters of warehouse space in 46 countries.
Ludovic Facompre, IT Director at Yusen Logistics, explained, “Our new 1,191,000 square foot facility in the Midlands will be highly complex and incorporate the latest automation technology. This warehouse management system is designed to automatically scale according to business needs, utilizing applied intelligence to facilitate real-time distribution planning for improved and faster operational decision-making.
