Blade Relaunches BLADEone Jet Service Between NYC and South Florida

Seasonal enhanced aviation service returns for flights between New York, Miami and Palm Beach

Blade Urban Air Mobility, a Joby Aviation company, has announced the return of its BLADEone enhanced aviation jet service, bringing seasonal flights between the New York City area and South Florida in partnership with Aero, a Los Angeles-based private jet airline. The service is scheduled to operate from Thursday, November 19, 2026, through Sunday, May 2, 2027, offering travelers a premium alternative for journeys between New York and two of South Florida’s most popular destinations: Miami and Palm Beach.

one flights will operate from Westchester County Airport (HPN) to Palm Beach’s President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT) and Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF). The service is designed to combine many of the conveniences associated with private aviation with the economics of a shared flight, providing an alternative to both traditional commercial first-class travel and full private-jet charter. the seasonal service responds to continued demand for premium travel between New York and South Florida. The company originally introduced its Enhanced Aviation offering in 2015, establishing a service focused on providing travelers with a more streamlined and personalized flying experience.

A premium alternative between New York and Florida

BLADEone is positioned in what Blade describes as a gap between conventional premium airline travel and the significantly higher cost of chartering an entire private aircraft. The service is aimed at passengers seeking greater convenience, privacy and personalized service without having to reserve a complete private jet. According to Blade, the New York–South Florida corridor has become one of the world’s busiest private aviation routes as more people travel between the two regions for business, leisure and personal reasons.

BLADEone sits squarely in the white space between a $1,000 first class seat and a $25,000 private jet charter,” said Rob Wiesenthal, Founder and CEO of Blade. “Given the significant migration of New Yorkers to South Florida, as well as the increase in business travel between the two geographies, there has never been a better time to reintroduce our service.”The company said BLADEone is intended to address the growing demand for convenient travel between the New York metropolitan area and South Florida while offering passengers an experience that differs from conventional commercial aviation.

Aircraft configured for 16 passengers

A central element of the one experience is the aircraft configuration. Flights will be operated by USAC Airways 695, an Aero subsidiary, using an Aero commercial jet that has been specially retrofitted for premium service. The aircraft will accommodate 16 passengers, with each traveler provided with an individual seat positioned between a window and the aisle. The configuration is designed to provide passengers with greater personal space and direct access compared with conventional commercial aircraft seating arrangements.

The aircraft will also feature Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, allowing passengers to remain connected during their journey. Curated amenity kits will be available onboard, while dining and bar service will be provided through Blade’s hospitality partners.In-cabin service will be handled by the SKYfx Team, which will support the premium onboard experience throughout the flight. The combination of a limited passenger capacity, customized cabin configuration and hospitality-focused service is intended to provide a more personalized alternative to standard airline travel.

Access to private terminals

Beyond the aircraft itself, one is designed around a travel experience that minimizes the time passengers spend navigating traditional commercial airport facilities.passengers will not need to deal with crowded commercial terminals, conventional boarding groups or lengthy security queues associated with typical commercial air travel.

In New York, travelers will have multiple options for reaching their departing flight. Passengers can begin their journey at Blade Lounge West on Manhattan’s West Side and use a helicopter connection to reach Westchester County Airport. Blade said the helicopter transfer can take approximately 10 minutes, allowing passengers to travel from Manhattan to the airport and arrive jetside.Alternatively, passengers can start their trip at Blade’s private terminal lounge at Westchester County Airport before boarding their BLADEone flight. The airport experience is intended to simplify the journey by providing passengers with access to private facilities rather than requiring them to navigate the larger commercial terminal environment.

Miami and Palm Beach connections

BLADEone will provide two South Florida arrival and departure options. In Miami, the service will operate through the Aero Lounge at Opa-Locka Executive Airport. The airport provides an alternative to Miami International Airport and is positioned to serve travelers seeking access to the Miami area through a private aviation facility.

For passengers traveling to Palm Beach, one flights will operate through a private terminal at Palm Beach’s President Donald J. Trump International Airport. These options allow passengers to select a destination that aligns with their travel plans in South Florida, whether they are visiting Miami, Palm Beach or surrounding communities. The seasonal schedule is expected to run throughout the winter and spring travel period, from November 19, 2026, until May 2, 2027.

Partnership between Blade and Aero

The BLADEone relaunch brings together Blade’s experience in premium urban air mobility services and Aero’s private aviation platform.Aero focuses on providing private-jet-style travel for passengers who want greater privacy and convenience without chartering an entire aircraft. The company and Blade said they share an emphasis on fewer passengers, private terminal facilities and hospitality.

Aero exists for travelers who want the privacy and ease of a private jet without chartering the whole aircraft,” said Ben Klein, CEO of Aero. “We’re excited to be combining forces with to bring the same experience and precision we’re known for on the West Coast to the East Coast.”The partnership follows previous cooperation between the companies. Aero and Blade worked together during the summer on a Los Angeles-to-East Hampton service, creating a foundation for the expanded BLADEone operation.

Klein said the previous collaboration helped establish the basis for bringing the service to the New York–South Florida market. After working together with Blade this summer on our Los Angeles to East Hampton service, BLADEone is the obvious next step, and the New York to Florida corridor is the right addition to our current network of routes out of New York,” he said.

Responding to changing travel patterns

Blade’s decision to bring back BLADEone comes as travel between New York and South Florida remains an important market for premium aviation services. The company pointed to population movement and business activity connecting the two regions as factors supporting demand for the route. South Florida has become an important destination for New York-based travelers, while business travelers continue to move between the two markets.

For these passengers, travel time and convenience can be particularly important. one’s model seeks to reduce some of the friction associated with conventional airline travel by combining smaller passenger numbers, private terminal access and premium onboard amenities.Rather than positioning the service as a traditional scheduled airline product, Blade is presenting BLADEone as an enhanced aviation option for travelers who want many of the features of private aviation without paying for an entire aircraft.

Part of Blade’s broader mobility strategy

The BLADEone service also fits into Blade’s broader strategy in air mobility.Blade Urban Air Mobility operates helicopter passenger services in the United States and Europe and has developed passenger terminals and technology intended to support its air mobility network. The company’s asset-light business model focuses on operating passenger services while building infrastructure and technology that can support future forms of air transportation.

Blade has also positioned its existing helicopter and fixed-wing operations as part of a longer-term transition toward electric air mobility. The company is now part of Joby Aviation, which is developing electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. Blade said its existing passenger operations, terminal infrastructure and proprietary technologies are expected to support a future transition from conventional helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to Joby’s electric air taxi once the aircraft receives certification. The planned transition is intended to support lower-cost urban air mobility while reducing noise and emissions compared with conventional aviation technologies.

A differentiated travel experience

BLADEone’s return reflects an effort to create a distinct travel option between commercial airline service and traditional private charter. With only 16 passengers per aircraft, premium seating, onboard connectivity, dining and bar service, and access to private aviation facilities, the service is designed around a more personalized passenger experience. The use of Starlink Wi-Fi will also provide connectivity for travelers who need to work or remain in contact while flying. Meanwhile, dedicated terminal facilities are intended to reduce the amount of time passengers spend in conventional airport environments.

For New York passengers, the combination of Manhattan helicopter access and Westchester County Airport service provides another layer of connectivity. Travelers can either use Blade Lounge West and transfer by helicopter or access the private terminal at Westchester County Airport directly. In South Florida, the Miami and Palm Beach options provide access to two major destinations within the region.

Seasonal service begins November 2026

BLADEone is scheduled to resume operations on November 19, 2026, with service continuing through May 2, 2027.The seasonal operation will connect the New York City area with Miami and Palm Beach through dedicated enhanced aviation flights operated in partnership with Aero.As demand for premium and flexible air travel continues to evolve, Blade and Aero are using BLADEone to offer a shared-flight model that combines elements of private aviation with a scheduled service structure.

The return of BLADEone also reinforces Blade’s broader focus on developing passenger mobility services that can eventually incorporate emerging aircraft technologies. Through its existing aviation network, private terminal infrastructure and partnership model, the company continues to build a platform designed to connect today’s air travel services with future electric air taxi operations. For travelers moving between New York and South Florida during the 2026–2027 winter and spring season, BLADEone will provide an enhanced aviation option centered on smaller passenger capacity, private terminal access and premium onboard service.
