ISC Launches New Marine Division

Carlsbad, California-based Integrated Specialty Coverages (“ISC”), a leading, multi-line program administrator that builds end-to-end insurance products utilizing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) engineering and data analytics, has recently launched its new Marine Division. The group is headed by industry veteran Kevin Wolfe and includes John Kiernan and Marquam “Marq” Wolfe.

ISC Marine products include General Cargo, Project Cargo, Hull and Protection & Indemnity, Marine General Liability, Marine Excess Liability, and Inland Marine.

“Kevin and his team provide us with unparalleled bench strength in the Marine space, enabling us to serve our broker partners with quality product lines, global expertise, underwriting acumen, and market relationships,” said Matt Grossberg, CEO, and founder of ISC. “The team is ready to connect with brokers and place business.”

“I am very excited, as is the rest of the team, to become a part of the ISC family as we launch our new Marine Division. We are looking forward to connecting with our broker partners and assisting them in finding solutions for their clients as ISC Marine,” said Kevin Wolfe, SVP Marine Division.

The ISC Marine Division collectively has over 100 years of experience. Kevin has held various underwriting/management positions during his career, which began at Talbot, Bird & Co., Inc., a specialized NYC marine insurer, in the late 70’s. He has also worked for various insurance companies throughout his career in addition to opening and managing his own Marine brokerage.

John is our Hull and P&I guru, bringing over 40 years of underwriting to the table. He has managed both national and global portfolios for some of the largest insurers in the industry. His technical expertise provides a valuable resource to ISC’s Marine team specifically in the HML arena for both brokers and assureds as well as a robust distribution web spanning multiple lines of business.

Marq’s 15-year career in the Ocean Marine insurance industry has been both as a broker and underwriter. He worked at Allianz as a part of Global Market Management and spent 10 years at Willis Towers Watson as a national Cargo broker, specializing in the PEMA and Middle-Market segments.
